Engineered for maximum security the K8 Rated Swing Gate is constructed of heavy duty, high strength steel and will withstand a 15,000 lb vehicle traveling at 40mph. CBP’s K8 Rated Swing Gate is expertly designed to act as a vehicular deterrent for perimeter security and traffic control purposes. Designed to Department of State K8 standards, this Gate is 5 ’ tall and is available with several different width openings from 13 ’ to 34’.
The K8 Manual Swing Gate features two operational modes allowing tailored control solutions for any type of facility or environment. Automatic operation of the Gate requires minimal surveillance and is ideal for areas requiring continual operation and access. The manual Gate, which would need to be opened and closed by hand, is best suited for facilities requiring a higher level of security where a constant guard is deployed. Both varieties of Swing Gates are ideal for installations requiring vehicular intrusion protection such as government facilities, airports, embassies, nuclear facilities and military bases.
